You can record the content displayed in the tab instantly and easily. This is an open source project, the source code is publicly available. https://github.com/ww24/instant-tab-recorder We developed this extension because we needed an extension that could be used safely from the perspective of security and privacy. --- # Release Notes v1.5.0 ## ✨ New Features ### Audio Separation * When recording with a microphone, you can now save separated audio files (tab audio / mic audio) alongside the main recording * Useful for meeting transcription * Separated audio files can be downloaded individually from the recording list via dedicated tab/mic icons * Enable this feature from the Audio Separation section on the options page ### Recording Real-Time Status * The extension icon tooltip now displays elapsed recording time, recording mode, and mic status in real time during recording * The recording list also shows a live elapsed time counter for the active recording ## 🐛 Bug Fixes ### Cancel Recording on Error * When an unexpected recording state is detected, the recording is now automatically cancelled and the error is reported * Recording errors are displayed in the options page so users are immediately aware of issues ### Fixed Encoding Validation on Settings Load * Fixed an issue where encoding compatibility was not validated when the settings page was loaded
