Better Subscriptions for YouTube™

The main thing is I notice about this app is how in your face it is with onscreen messages and constant generation of new tabs boasting of minor changes. NAG, NAG, NAG

Suddenly videos are not being hidden after I watched them I guess Youtube broke something again so I have to wait for the developer of this app to fix it worked great until today

No longer works ands hasnt for some time now. Only works when browsing someone's youtube channel page which makes it useless.

Doesn't work. It will still show already watched videos (which are clearly marked by Youtube).

Used this for YEARS. Whatever update you pushed out today has DESTROYED my entire youtube homepage screen, NOTHING is visible anymore, as in, every single thumbnail of every single video gets removed. Removing this extension and suddenly youtube homepage is back to how it should be.

WHERE IS THE EYE AT THE TOPS OF THE SCREEN ???? Where the hell is the EYE That if you click would hid/showed all the watched videos. The text "Hide Watched" is confusing and misleading. it is not obvious it's a button and on top of that when you do click on it, does it not chance to "Show Watched" STUPID!! Also what idiot thought to put a "Mark all as watched" link (button) on the top and not give a undo all a 'Mark all as unwatched' option somewhere ... SHEER STUPIDITY

Not working

i caught this hiding subscription videos that i never had the chance to watch and i never marked as watched. And sometimes videos that were already watched come back as 'unwatched'. sorry, this extension isn't very good, needs a lot of fixing

Doesn't hide watched videos. If that changes, I'll adjust my review accordingly. For now it's just a useless extension.

This does NOTHING. Even when I click "Hide" the video keep reappearing - the exact same issue I already have with plain subscriptions. It seems this extension only duplicates what Youtube already provides - and since the Youtube "Hide" algorithm occasionally completely breaks (worked for me for a while than not at all, they keep breaking it) what's the point of this extension??? An actually _useful_ extension will have to keep its own list of watched videos in local storage and work with video URLs as identifier, and be completely independent of any broken built-in Youtube functions.. Okay then it only works in one browser (unless you add some "cloud" option). This extension only seems to "work" when you don't need it (because the Youtube "Hide" option already works for you).

doesn't work - running on a mac..

Doesn't do anything. I've triple checked the settings, I've let it run for over a week now. It doesn't work. IT DOESN'T HIDE WATCHED VIDEO'S. I could not find any button to hide video's either. Makes me wonder the positive reviews....

Doesn't work! Forgets watched and hidden videos half an hour ago shows them again and again. Unusable small button to hide videos which hides itself you accidentally play the video and not hide it. Rubbish

You have to manually select the videos you want to hide.

Nice idea, but didnt work for me. Installed it, hit refresh and still showed the same watched videos as before without it. Tried playing with the settings but watched videos still there.

Several times a day it redirects you to messages from the author. Not cool man.

Currently, this only seems to work on the Subscriptions page.So far, that's the only page where I've seen the icon to mark videos as viewed, and viewed videos are definitely showing up at least some other pages. I love the mark-as-viewed feature, but I wish that there were a way to set a threshold for how much counts as having seen the video (especially since the YouTube app takes muted autoplay as you scroll through your feed and sets that as your view amount, so videos that autoplayed silently for a few seconds would presumably be hidden by this extension). And, of course, I wish that it worked consistently across YouTube (everywhere but your History page, basically).

It's a FANTASTIC extension...usually. During the past week something broke, and now all the thumbnails are inscrutably tiny and their text captions are cut off, and the extension won't reflect real-time current queues of hidden-vs-unwatched videos. I'd love it if the developer could kindly take a look and remedy this? Thanks!

Great for the subscription box and clearing out videos as I watch them, that said, it would be nice if I could set the extension to not hide videos away on channel pages, in that situation the red bar stating I've watched the video is enough. Sometimes I want to look at the back catalog of videos on a channel page, I can't do that with this extension.

The whole "mark as watched" button has started not appearing for some reason. It started maybe 2-3 days ago. After several reloads of the page and entering the plugin config page and making sure its updated etc.. (basically focusing on the mod), it suddenly appears again.. but if you close and reload the window it might dissapear again.

Simple extension that adds a "hide watched video" radio button. It is working for channels, but not for the front page and some other functionality is broken such as the putting the GUI on the right menu. I did not test the mark all as watched button but the eyeball button works. While I won't really be using this app regularly I may come back to it for a particularly packed channel.

are there no option or other extension to hide videos watched from made playlist? I have a ton of vids from my playlist that I watch in random order

Watched Videos are not staying hidden

Works ok, but will not stop after 1 month and keeps finding older and older vids to hide. Would get 1 more star from me if this is resolved.
