stopped working this morning, previously created connections that have been used for months now aren't listed by chrome. when i try to add them again, i get told it's a duplicate name any reason why connections would disappear and stop working without warning?
Doesn't work. Simple as that.
No useful instructions for chromebook.
This was working fine until a recent ChromeOS update. Now it fails to connect. This is affecting all of our Chromebooks at the moment. Even tested with a newer VPN appliance to no avail.
Auth is broken.
does not work
The app doesn't launch out of the box.
Configured it and tried it out. The app took me to my company's normal Pulse VPN login page and even initiated the two-factor authentication. So far, so good. Then it just craps out and says network error - not supported.
According to the release notes of Pulse Secure Mobile, this app does not seem to be officially supported anymore. It still works in most standard implementations, but when it comes to specific features on the Connect Secure gateway like SAML authentication, it just fails to connect. Unfortunately the new version 22.x from Ivanti, which could probably solve the open issues, is not available here in the chrome web store.
Works well enough, but it'll absolutely DESTROY your battery life. From 11 hours to 4 hours just having the extension enabled, even when I'm not connected via VPN.
Only works on the "typical" network, if you are on a Chromebook and need to use Pulse Secure be very weary! Networks requiring a captive portal? In some cases, this flat out doesn't work. In most cases, you'll connect for a few minutes before Pulse drops its connection. Impossible to do any work on the road with this, please fix it!!
It worked before. However, after the update was installed in the server side, it no longer works.
Can't get it to work with a Chrome Book, app loads but there is no way to configure it. Can only refresh or clear credentials. Would love some help, thanks.
Not yet working for Virginia Tech VPN, will change rating when fixed.
The native ChromeOS PulseSecure client has not been updated in a long time and does not support 2-factor authentications (2fa). Users should install the android version from the Google Play Store. The android client is up-to-date and correctly supports 2fa. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.pulsesecure.pulsesecure
Good start but too unstable and unreliable for me. I get an "Untrusted Certificate" error far too often, even when I'm able to connect to the same server from the desktop version. Also Support could be more responsive.
