Description

Onyx adds a Markdown editor to Chrome’s side panel so you can take notes without leaving your tab. Notes export straight to Obsidian with one click. - Side panel editor - Write in Markdown with live preview next to any page. - Vault editor - interact and update files on disk, directly from the web. - One-click export to Obsidian - Set vault and folder in the toolbar; export creates the note via obsidian://. - Capture the current page - Insert the page title and URL into your note with a single click. - Right-click selection - “Import selection to Editor” or “Import selection to Obsidian” from the context menu. - Built-in and custom themes - Dark, light, OLED, Nord, Dracula, Tokyo Night, and more; import your own theme JSON. - Customization - Fonts (interface, editor, code), export template (e.g. frontmatter), custom CSS, compact mode, sync scroll. No account, no sync to our servers - notes go to your Obsidian vault. Requires Obsidian with obsidian:// protocol support.
