YouTube Default Playback Speed

Used to work, now resets to 1x speed all the time, forcing me to manually change the speed.

Doesn't work anymore. Used to work fine, but then it more and more reset playback to x1. Now it just straight up doesn't work! Seems like like the Author isn't making updates anymore :(

This extension worked when I first installed it. Doesn't seem to be working anymore.

It was perfect, but started to reset to 1x often. And also you can't set a shortcut to activate the extension. anyone know another extension that let you set default speed for videos? possibly on every video of any websites including netflix, vimeo etc?

A perfect extension for Brave browser, when it worked, please fix it!

One of the best extension i have used for youtube speed so far ... but it stopped working now !! please rectify !

this was amazing until the new update to the extension made it almost unusable

Probably the best current option, but it's not perfect. On restarting my computer, the extension forgets the speed you set it and resets to 1x. It also overrides the YouTube playback speed from the previous video you played, yet doesn't update the YouTube interface, meaning 6 unnecessary clicks are needed if you wanted to go back to the speed you used for the last video.

does the job, but cannot hold the playback speed setting for the current tab, returns to the main setting after a while

Only works on the Youtube site and not embedded vids :/
